We are so happy to be part of this beautiful community! It’s such a joy to see children learning with love.

We LOVE LePort Solana Beach! We have watched both of our kids (son in Elementary, and daughter in Primary) blossom into inquisitive, intellectually active children who are fully engaged in life as a result of the instructional practices at LePort.

Almost nightly, the teachers send us photos of our kids at work in their classrooms with descriptions of what they learned and worked on that day at school. This practice allows my husband and me to feel so connected with what our kids are doing at school, and allows us to have great conversations with our kids about learning and exploration at home.

One of the best parts about LePort's Montessori approach is that the students are able to explore what is of interest to them, guided by their teachers. This is MUCH different, and better, than the traditional approach where kids sit at a desk all day, and have to listen to the teacher drone on and on. LePort Solana Beach offers an active, fun, intellectually challenging learning environment with a real sense of community that we couldn't be more impressed with.

There are so many things that I love about this school! My daughter has really flourished there and comes home so happy from her day. First of all, the staff is excellent! They are kind, patient, loving and very calm. I can tell that they genuinely care about and love the kids and that's the most important thing. The other things I love about the campus are the abundant outdoor space and the kind of educational tools they use. They are all about fostering independence in the child and it helps so much with their development. It really makes it easier for parents at home. I love all the activities and the scaled down furniture and stations where they work. I love the pace and the serene environment. Very happy with our choice!

I can't say enough wonderful things about LePort Solana Beach. My son has been going there since he was 8-months-old so we had the pleasure of being in the infant room with the wonderful teachers and assistants until he transitioned to the toddler room with Ms. Melissa and Ms. Monica. They share pictures of what the kids do during the day. My son is so capable: from preparing food and the table to using the toilet, singing the alphabet and counting to twenty... and he's not even 2. Most importantly it is evident that they treat the children with courtesy. The kids love them.

An added benefit of this school is all the educational offerings they provide. They really guide parents through Montessori and foster an environment that nurtures community and relationships.

The administration is also impressive--it really feels like a family. A very well-functioning family!
